Community Partners

Jesus said He had come that His followers might have life and have it more abundantly (Jn. 10:10); He also said His followers were to be light and salt and yeast in their communities and world (Mtt. 5:15,16). We believe this and express it in a variety of ways.

St Mary’s Episcopal Church is proud of its links and fellowship with Christians of other traditions in Bridge of Weir. We share in mission and evangelism with St Machar’s, Ranfurly and Freeland, both Church of Scotland; and a little further afield with St Fillan’s Roman Catholic Church in Houston.

Together, we ensure the whole Bridge of Weir community is invited to and receives a welcome at special Easter and Christmas services.
As a part of the Hearthland Group of Episcopal Churches, we share from time to time in worship, fellowship and events with St Mary’s, Port Glasgow and St Fillan’s, Kilmacolm.
